职位职责:
为产品提供机械设计。设计过程包括，但不限于：
- 协同工程师准确理解产品要求的特性, 应用和性能, 将产品规范和概念转化为工程设计；
- 逆向工程, 提出改进意见以增加对客户的价值, 或节省制造成本；
- 工程分析, 包括结构强度, 可靠性,有效性, 材料特性, 制造工艺, 安全性, 论证及测试；
- 建立产品3D模型, 工程制图, 及规范；
- 协同采购部门进行供应商开发, 原型试制, 测试及论证；
- 做好项目管理, 及时、按预定成本, 高质量地完成新产品研发工作。
职位要求：
- 五至八年产品研发和机械设计经验；
- 机械工程或相关专业；
- 熟悉制造工艺及材料特性；
- 熟悉CAD及相关计算机操作；
- 良好的沟通及协调能力；

The engineer in this position is primarily responsible for working with US engineering and marketing team to develop new products for Cooper Industries' global market.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create mechanical design of products. Development stages include, but not limited to:
- Working with engineers to fully understand the required product features, application and performance, translating product specifications and concepts into engineering;
- Reverse engineering, and suggest improvements in design for added value for the customer, or to save cost on manufacturing;
- Engineering analysis including structure strength and integrity, reliability, efficiency, material specification, manufacturability, safety, certification, and testing;
- Developing product 3D modeling, engineering drawing with specifications;
- Working with sourcing team on supplier development, prototyping, testing and qualification;
- Project management to deliver new product on time, at targeted costs, and in high quality.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-5-8 years solid experience in product development and mechanical design.
- Major in Mechanical Engineering or related area;
- Good understanding of manufacture process and material feature;
- Proficient in CAD and computer operation;
- Strong communication and coordination skills;
- Strong English reading / writing skills. Good verbal is a plus.
2. Industrial Control Engineer ( Shanghai ) / 资深工控系统研发工程师 ( 上海市 )
该职位的工程师主要负责与美国的工程部和市场部合作，为库柏公司全球市场开发新产品。
职位职责:
- 弱电控制系统的设计与开发；
- 对产品性能和用户要求进行详细了解和评估，将产品概念转化为工程产品；
- 进行工业控制系统的规划和设计，包括
a. 对各种系统的拓扑结构进行详细评估，选择合适的系统结 构，包括中央控制系统及周边元件；
b. 由系统对传感器测量的数据进行信息采集，通过良好的人机界面和功能集成，根据用户的设置进行输出及功能的完成；
- 定义产品的控制功能，同软件工程师合作，进行控制软件的开发与功能设置；
- 同电子工程师合作，进行电路设计及调试；
- 制作产品的原形并进行详尽的测试，支持产品论证；
职位要求：
- 五至八年弱电控制系统的设计研发经验。
- 自动控制、工业电气自动化或电子工程专业
- 优秀的沟通及团队合作能力。

The engineer in this position is primarily responsible for working with US engineering and marketing team to develop new products for Cooper Industries' global market.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop electronic industrial control system;
- Study product performance and customer need, translate product specifications and concepts into engineering;
- Design and develop the control system, including:
a. Evaluate the system topology and decide the right structure, including the central control system, sub-system and peripherals;
b.The system collects and processes the data acquired by sensors, through a good user-interface, output the result and finish the function pre-defined by user;
- Define system function, work with software engineer to develop the software;
- Work with electronic engineer to conduct the circuit design;
- Make prototype and conduct testing, support certification process;
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5-8 years solid experience in electronic control system design and development;
- Major in electronic engineering, automation or related area;
- Strong communication and excellent teamwork skills;
- Strong English reading / writing skills. Good verbal is a plus.
3.Supplier Development Engineer - Lighting /（采购工程师-照明） ( 上海市 )
The employee in this position will take the responsibility of supplier development and sourcing for lighting products.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop strong supplier base for the assigned product line
- Evaluate supplier capability
- Evaluate quote, analysis cost and select the suppliers
- Work with supplier on the manufacturer control plan and quality control process
- Work closely with the US team to solve the technical issue and improve the lead time of supplier
REQUIRTMENTS:
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 3 years experience on lighting products
- Familiar with UL and FCC of Lighting products is preferred
- Able to read and write in English
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Over 15 years working experience is a plus
4.Supplier Development Engineer-Mechanical /（采购工程师-机械） ( 上海市 )
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop strong supplier base for the assigned products
- Evaluate supplier capability
- Evaluate quote, analyze cost and select the suppliers
- Work with supplier on the MCP and quality control process
- Solve the technical issues with the supplier and US team
REQUIRTMENTS:
- Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 3 years sourcing experience on mechanical products
- Technology or quality experience on mechanical is preferred
- 1-2 years working experience with or for a US based company
- 1-2 years manufacturing experience is preferred
- Ability to speak and write English well
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
5.Supplier Quality Engineer ( Shanghai ) / 供应质量工程师 ( 上海市 )
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in the potential supplier evaluation and development, which range from initial quality assessment, inspection training, QPS documents preparation and review.
- Monitor the supplier performance, including monthly feedback, annual quality assessment, corrective action follow up and so on.
- Establish the quality control requirements for incoming inspection.
- Handle customer complaint raised by customers. Issue Corrective Action Report (CAR) to vendor and follow up the whole problem solving process, ensure the root causes are identified, actions are taken and effective.
- Identify opportunities for improvements and drive vendors to make continual improvement.
- Train the inspectors to ensure they understand the inspection requirements and method.
REQUIRTMENTS:
- Have 3+ years experience in process quality control in mechanical industry; experience in electrical industry is a plus.
- Have experience in ISO 9001 quality system establishment and sustaining.
- Good communication skill, good command of English and Mandarin both in writing and speaking.
- Good at team building and strong team driver for process and system improvement.
- Good at quality tool application, such as SPC, FMEA, MSA.
